Midwives are specialists and the keepers of normality. We provide care based on our expert knowledge of normal physiological pregnancy, labour and birth using evidence based practices. If at any time we feel that there are any deviations from the norm we must, in accordance with our 'Midwifery Rules', refer you onto a specialist. This may mean, for example, a transfer to hospital when a home birth is planned. We will at all times keep you fully informed and will work with you to ensure that the best decision regarding your care is accomplished and we hope that you will respect our views and opinions regarding this.

Full Care Package
Packages start from £1500 upto £3000. Prices vary depending on the level of support required.
Booking appointment which will take approx 1-2 hours and is our chance to form a plan of care based on your individual circumstances and is an opportunity for information sharing.
Antenatal visits in the comfort of your own home and at times to suit your individual circumstances. Visits will be monthly up to 28 weeks, fortnightly up to 36 weeks and weekly thereafter.
Tailored birth preparation and parent education incorporated into your antenatal visits
24/7 phone or email support
Various forms of educational resources, i.e. books, leaflets, CD's, DVD's
The use of my TENS machines free of charge
The use of Entonox (Gas and air) for labour/birth if necessary
The supply of emergency drugs and equipment if needed
On call for birth from 37 weeks
Use of a birth pool in a box if desired
Support at homebirth
Support in hospital whether planned or unplanned
Upto 6 weeks postnatal care in your home and at times that are suited to your individual needs
Breastfeeding support
Other care packages are available to those who may not require full independent midwifery support for their entire pregnancy or for those who only require birth support or postnatal care. Please contact me for details of what is included and prices for each package.
